HD tidbits from '33
Few changes are made in 1933.
Frames are painted black and die cast brass Linkerts become the carb of
choice.
The VLD is a new model, and was what the JDH model was in the J series. The new 'Y' shapped intake manifold gave the fuel charge a more direct entry point. The VLD factory hotrod featured aluminum alloy pistons, and at 5:1 compression, made 36 horses @ 4,500 rpm.
